Designed for practicing electricians, this practical course provides the knowledge and hands-on skills required to support the design, installation and commissioning of EESS, helping meet the growing demand for renewable energy and low carbon construction.

Designed for practicing electricians, this regulated qualification is for learners wishing to achieve a regulated qualification in the Design, Installation and Commissioning of EESS. This qualification is in accordance with BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations andthe IET Code of Practice for EESS.
Content Overview
The course introduces learners to:
Delivered through a combination of classroom learning and practical workshop activity, the course gives learners hands-on experience using industry-standard tools, fixings, and equipment within a simulated installation environment.
Entry Requirements
This course is designed for qualified and practicing electrician who are age 18+. On application for the qualification, we will carry out an initial assessment of the learner’s capability to complete the qualification.
Prior to registering for the qualification, learners must provide evidence that they meet the qualification pre-requisites. Full details of this are available within the Qualification Specification.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, will receive an industry recognised certificate of achievement issued by LCL Awards.
