The Verdancy Group joins CITB Training Provider Network

The Verdancy Group has joined the CITB Training Provider Network, as an approved training provider supporting skills development across the UK construction industry. This is delivered through their training arm Apex Training.

The CITB Training Provider Network brings together quality-assured organisations committed to raising standards and addressing critical skills gaps across the construction sector. Membership signals that a provider meets CITB’s expectations for industry-relevant training and professional delivery.

The Verdancy Group has previously operated as a CITB Approved Training Provider, and joining the Training Provider Network represents the next stage in its relationship with CITB as the organisation continues to expand its work supporting construction skills.

Susan McDonald, Director of The Verdancy Group, said:

“Construction is going through a significant period of change. Improving energy performance, decarbonising our buildings and developing new skills across the workforce are now central to the future of the industry.

“We’ve worked with CITB for a number of years as an Approved Training Provider, so joining the Training Provider Network feels like a natural evolution. It recognises the work our team has been doing to support employers and practitioners across the built environment.”

The Verdancy Group’s Apex Training Arm works with employers, housing providers, local authorities and industry partners to deliver practical learning programmes that help the construction workforce develop the skills needed for modern construction and retrofit practices.

This includes specialist training in retrofit, insulation, solar and energy efficiency. Programmes are delivered from Apex Training Centres at the BE-ST Innovation Campus in Hamilton and Basingstoke, Hampshire, alongside a growing network of partner training locations across the UK.

Through the CITB Training Provider Network, The Verdancy Group and Apex Training will continue to support construction professionals, contractors and organisations seeking to develop capability in areas such as retrofit, energy efficiency and sustainable construction.
